User interface for online exhibition co-curated by arebyte (London) and Chronus Art Center (Shanghai). The exhibition explores diverse perspectives surrounding digital death, renewal and reincarnation in the virtual domain. The interface provides an fluid and immersive way to experience the works.
The user experience is defined and mutated according to data collected from the browser and previous users. The interface decays as the user interacts with it revealing a layer of gathered data.
The user interface is bi-lingual to accommodate a global audience. Accessibility was also an important consideration which was complicated due to the nature of some of the works in the exhibition. A fully navigable audio guide sits alongside the main interface to provide a rich experience for visually impaired users.
