The endlessly morphing sunset/sunrise/moonrise of sun[set] provisioning alludes to the phenomenon of spectacular sunsets that occur only because of high amounts of pollution in the atmosphere. The work mimics these (un)natural sunsets by measuring the levels of local pollution and, as the level increases, the more spectacular and colourful the computer generated scene is.

Real-time environmental data is pulled from a uRad pollution monitor, the data is then translated and used to define variables within the rendered 3D scene built in the Unity game engine.

Multi-Player / Multi-Channel

Multiple instances of the game can be connected and the sun's motion is accurately tracked across all views depending on the latitude and longitude of the work's location.
